Those that everyone wants to do at least once in their life, which always stand out for their beauty, spectacular scenery, and because enjoyment on two wheels is guaranteed. It's not easy, there is a lot to choose from, but after talking to many riders, at NG BRAKES we have reached the conclusion that this is the definitive Top 5.

Trans-Pyrenean Route

The quintessential route. Because of the landscapes you travel through—among the most spectacular on the continent—and because the roads are some of the most exciting in our country. It covers a very wide area and can be completed in full using different itineraries or simply by choosing a single stage. Be that as it may, enjoying the Pyrenees region, both the Catalan and the Huesca sides, is a unique experience that motorcyclists from all corners of the planet don't want to miss. In fact, if you ever choose this route, you will find fellow riders on two wheels constantly.

Picos de Europa

From one mountainous area to another. Normally, when people think of Spain, many go straight to the beaches, but Spain has plenty of green areas, such as the Picos de Europa. One of the best motorcycle routes in our country runs through this National Park, which spans parts of León, Cantabria, and Asturias and, depending on the itinerary, can take you to places of indescribable beauty such as the Lakes of Covadonga. Additionally, for the most adventurous, riding through the Desfiladero de la Hermida (Hermida Gorge) is a must.

Ruta de la Plata (The Silver Route)

Spain's Roman past can be revisited with one of the most popular motorcycle routes. The Ruta de la Plata crosses the Iberian Peninsula from one end to the other, starting from Gijón and reaching Seville. This route allows you to travel the ancient Vía de la Plata, which connected Mérida and Astorga, and visit some of the places we have previously recommended, such as the Jerte Valley (always beautiful, but especially in spring), as well as others we hadn't mentioned before, like Salamanca.

Madrid – Segovia Route

This is one of the most popular and common routes, especially for those living in the capital. It is perfect for a Saturday or Sunday outing and, of course, for going with family. On it, you will travel through the northern area of the Community of Madrid, enjoying fun and exciting roads. To top it off, a visit to the city of Segovia, where you can enjoy historic monuments of immense beauty such as the Roman Aqueduct of Segovia or the Alcázar.

Cantabrian Coast Route

We return to the north of the Iberian Peninsula to travel through one of its most spectacular areas: the entire coast, from San Sebastián to Finisterre. A true paradise, especially for those looking to witness the constant contrasts between sea and mountain, blue and green, that flood this entire region. This is a route we recommend dedicating several days to, so you can enjoy every city and every village, the many viewpoints you'll find along the way, and, of course, a gastronomy that is considered by many to be the tastiest and most delicious on the planet.
